Did you even read it? Nothing he said made it sound like Microsoft fanboys are good... They are awkwardly annoying as hell but noticed they are rare in terms of being open about. Of course if you say something like "pc master race" or "ps version is better because (insert bullshit here)", yeah. any of them will bite back as most people do.

As for ps fanboys.... Personal experience......... Out of all the whining over who's stupid console is better....... It's ALWAYS ps fanboys who are involved. I've never once noticed a nintendo vs microsoft fanboy cryfight. It's always the sonycultists provoking someone by saying something retarded mid game like "ps version is better because (often made up crap)". Then why the fuck are you playing it on Steam, switch, or xbox to begin with? Unless the morons just like to argue for troll reasons that still would make them worse. Either way makes them look stupid to everyone but their own.

Ignorantly delusional ps fanatics feeding backwards bullshit is why I literally sold my ps. I still own the other consoles and yet somehow still meet psfanboys and if you're a sony "fan" and not a "fanboy", you likely won't even notice this because you are in their "good graces" or whatever... Of course if you ARE just another sony "fanBOY" then nothing anyone can say will get through those lalala fingers crammed in the ears and this would have been pointless.

I've seen fanboys drone on why their shit is best and who's sucks all over forums but I've ONLY ever seen ps fanboys do that shit in real life and in NON-ps games. (why play on xbox, pc, or a switch if they are sooo inferior to you to the point of mentioning it every chance your get?). I owned every console and learned 2 things. one... those exclusives they stroke their dicks over are pathetically overated.... except uncharted. that actually was really fun....and 2 that playstation has the most whiny, toxic, delusional, incompetent fanboys I've ever met...

Fyi. the only reason I searched and found this page is the current ramblings at this moment of an unprovoked gaystation fanatic pulling their usual incoherent superiority complex on a steam game of all places and now linked him this article.

Even to this day Sony fanboys are the worst because they do what you highlighted with the reviews. The sheer praise they give a corporation is ridiculous. Every time somebody criticises Sony they bring up what Microsoft did. OK fanboys tell me with a straight face. Sony never ever ever were even thinking about blocking used games on PS4. They were never going to bundle the camera in the system but told retailers that they were doing to lure Microsoft into doing it.

They praise PS4 and it's immense success but it's "success" is based entirely on a pack of lies. They sold because they lied. Also Sony abandoned Vita at the first sign of trouble whereas Microsoft and Nintendo at least carried on for XBOne and Wii U. But lets forget that because PS4 is dominating again.

They were hyping Vita on it's promising technology and the potential it had was never shown because Sony bailed. Yoshida swore they wouldn't leave Vita and Guy Longsworth even promised every single studio they owned would make at least one game for it.

If they think the lies they have told aren't being noticed they are in for a rude awakening. If Sony do make a new handheld to combat Switch people aren't going to buy it unless they keep making games for it next time.

What is really needed is a mass boycott of all media formats that allow DRM (in a form that hasn't been cracked yet). The average joe needs to know why it is an issue, so they can join in. DRM should be made near completely unprofitable.

Here it is 3 years later and there has still been few to little good One games...I have actually decided to give up on Xbox and go with Sony. I seem to get more for my money with the PS than with Xbone. And saddest part is I've been an Xbox supporter since 2007 but I've all but given up on it

Hi, I found your blog post while having a very similar problem of my own, I am also currently writing a novel based around a character who could be described as a vigilante and trying to create an in depth character that doesn't fit the premade stereotypes of the antihero or become the villain. I could not agree more, with everything you said here, especially concerning Rico Velasquez who was by far the most irritating and inane character I've ever had the displeasure to experience as a constant companion throughout a game. Every single time he opened his mouth I was instantly furious. I hated him with a passion. Which, admittedly, is probably what they were going for, but for different reasons. There was a point in the game where I emptied a number of clips into his fat head just for the pure joy it brought me. I forced myself to finish this game simply because that's my compulsion. Thankfully it only cost me $3, used.

I do like Batman and Daredevil, even they're vigilantes, though they won't kill, which could probably damage their soul, especially in the case of Daredevil, since he's Catholic.

The amount of flaming and bashing towards the Xbox One is absolutely ridiculous and unfounded. Yeah, the launch was stupid, but Microsoft has since taken steps to fixing it. The Xbox One is an excellent console that outputs excellent picture quality, just like the PlayStation 4. Why does there have to be a war? It's not necessary, because it isn't anyone's decision what I should buy. It's my decision and my decision only, and if I buy an Xbox One, great! If I buy a PlayStation 4, also great! If I buy them both, super! It doesn't matter to anyone if I buy a console that competes with someone else's console, it doesn't affect anyone besides me. Why do they make it out like it does matter? It really doesn't!

But then they'll bring up the "red ring of death". My God, that's a thing of the past. It's old news! Even still, Microsoft fixed that problem with the Xbox 360 S. Then they'll bring up the PlayStation 4's higher resolution (which doesn't matter in console gaming, for the record). Again, who cares? The graphics on both systems are excellent, and two equally optimized games on each console would look just as appealing as the other. If you don't like the Xbox, don't buy it, and let that be the end of the story! All fanboys make the gaming community look like immature nerds with no lives and no skills besides playing games. Why can't we just play our games and get along? You can't go to an article for anything without the fanboys of the competition coming over to throw crap everywhere for the sole purpose of raising hell.

But what's worse is when fanboys insult users or fans of the competition. No one has the right to make judgement of another person because they bought *gasp* the competition's product! In some cases, it goes to extremes where fanboys actually threaten the well-being and lives of the fans or userbase. That is incredibly childish, immature, very rash, and frankly, it's against the law. Threatening to kill someone over something so simple as someone making a simple, founded criticism of their favourite thing? That could be cause enough for arrest and imprisonment. And people who do make threats should rightly be sent to prison.

My least favourite groups of fanboys are Apple fanboys and PlayStation fanboys, just because they make the most noise and the biggest stink about it. Fanboys throwing hatred towards the competition and their fans say more about themselves than they do about the competition. I know, it's really cliché, but it couldn't be more true.

i really enjoyed this short story, however, i was a little disappointed by the ending! it suddenly became too colloquial and the great descriptive language was chucked out the window! at first you were showing not telling, which was great and so intriguing, but then as soon as you started to tell not show, it was very thick and cliche haha. i loved your idea of personifying sleep and death that was fabulous and so original!

FUN FACT!!! Most Nintendo fanboys are vocal once they get bashed by other fanboys. Like you said, ALL fanboys are freaken pathetic but based on my personal experience in several comment sections for several gaming articles and gaming videos: Sony fanboys are the attackers, Nintendo fanboys are the defenders, and Microsoft fanboys appear to be the most silent of the bunch (although like all fanboys... when you see one it's really annoying).

I got nothing to prove what I said other than it being from my own personal experience. Multi-console gaming is where it's at! ;)

Well, to be fair, Microsoft took apps like Netflix, Hulu Plus and HBO Go out from behind the Xbox Live Gold pay wall so you don't have to pay to access those anymore.

The first part of your statement may be true on PSN but on XBL, you have to have a subscription to do pretty much anything. The only thing that I dont like about GwG is the lack of selection. I own pretty much every non-arcade title that they have offered so GwG is really not much of a benefit to me. PS+ atleast offers a selection so I would have a MUCH better chance to get a game that I do not already own
